De Vera Jewelry

(De Vera, 2010)

De Vera Jewelry is the companion volume to De Vera Objects. Anita Calero's stunning photographs capture their subjects against a backdrop of antique prints and in De Vera-created tableaux, placing these small objects in a larger aesthetic context. The book depicts both antique jewelry from De Vera's collection as well as jewelry De Vera designed himself, often incorporating objects from his extensive cabinet of curiosities. With essays by Paul Smith, Bruce Weber, and Lori Goldstein.
